Crackertail
The Allied Seawind Mark I is one of the
best sailboats ever built on her class. This design has been produced in
different versions offering outstanding quality of construction, seakeeping
abilities and great resale value. This's hull #25 and this particular vessel
has been modified over the years to accomodate the requirements of her past
owners (who already circumnavigated this yacht twice) based on their blue water
experiences aboard this boat. The most important changes made were the removal
of the mizzen mast, a custom made massive stainless steel Pilot House (worth
$8,000), a hinged base at the deck-stepped mast so it can fold down to clear
any bridge in the world, fairly new Navy Blue hull paint (worth $6,000),
convenient dual steering system (tiller and wheel), a redesign of her interior
lay-out to accomodate a straight galley and a comfortable dinette and her
equipment shows a fairly new Yanmar diesel engine in 1996 (worth $5,600), brand
new never-used cruising spinnaker w/snuffer (worth $1,000), 150% roller furling
genoa sail, dacron slab-baten main sail, storm jib, inverter, Danforth 35 Lbs
anchor, new house batteries, Bomar aluminum deck hatches, wind generator,
radar, auto pilot, Harken deck hardware and main traveler system and much more.
It doesn't matter they way this boat is looked at, her firm asking price makes
this boat a true steal! ONLY IN UPGRADES THIS BOAT IS WORTH OVER $25,000 !!!
Please hurry; this boat won't last long !!!
